During my travels around the world I have had the privilege of using many different types of knives made locally by the folks who actually use them. Some are beautiful and show artistic talent as well as clever use of available materials, others are made for pure function, no frills. Here are photos of some knives I have used and collected in far off places like Nepal, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, and one small dagger from The Sudan.
