So , after 4 days on a bus from Osorno ,Chile I arrived in Punta Arenas. It was a cold cloudy day, I was exhausted , hungry, and totally fed up with travel. As luck would have it, the bus stop was right next door to the Condor de Plata Hotel. It was a bit pricey at $58.00 a night but I didnt feel like searching for anything cheaper.

I checked in, then went to get some coffee, booze, a C-gar and food. I slept like log and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast the following morning. It was a good hotel for an overnighter or if you could afford to stay longer. Me? Im a traveler on a budget. I was forced to find a cheaper place on the morrow.
