The Bone Tactical bushcraft spear

https://www.instagram.com/tv/CN8rG7Bh_Eb/

Bone tacticals BushcraftSpear looks to be a decent blade. I like the versatility of this blade. However, at the price of $299.95 each Ill have to pass on it. Perhaps I can find one for sale or trade elsewhere online. At around 300 bucks its a bit too pricey for a knife of that type. 300 bucks is a lot of ammo…….. But, if any of you are interested you can get yours at; https://www.bonetactical.com/store/p12/Bushcraft_Spear_Wilderness_Survival_%26_Fighting_Knife_System.html

I have attached Tambones description of this blade for your enjoyment.

Tomahawk Out!

The Bushcraft Spear is a unit that Greg has been working on for the last 20 years… Since the first knife he hand made with his grandfather (which was more of a short sword) went with him hunting, fishing, and camping the outskirts of the Florida Everglades where he grew up. We call it a unit because it’s so much more than just a knife. It’s a lifeline, a true bushcraft survival system. The sharks, gators, black bears, and big cats first taught us we needed a knife big enough to take down megafauna if necessary. When spear hunting became legal in Alabama 10 years later, we began creating prototypes that could quickly and easily go from a belt worn bushcraft blade to a hunting spear when attached to a sapling. When our time in the mountains and jungles of South and Central America taught us that a machete can not only be used as a true do-it-all tool, but will also keep you alive in the wilderness like no other tool can, the final design began to take shape.

This blade excels at all bushcraft tasks: cutting, chopping, whittling, skinning, butchering, it can even filet fish. Simply put, it’s guaranteed to be more versatile in the woods than you are (regardless of your skill-set). It’s well balanced, comfortable in hand, and like all our blades it’s extremely tough. Differentially flame hardened 4140 steel coated in Cerakote will offer you a lifetime of hard use if you keep it clean and well oiled. It even makes a great large fighting knife which can be used in both forward and reverse grip. When used as a weapon it performs as a larger version of our Gladius. The long double-sided blade slashes, stabs, and parries with ease. The reverse edge is only partially sharpened so it can still be hammered through small logs and used like a camp axe.

The sheath system is a work of art in and of itself. A great blade is only effective if you can get to it when you need it, and this one is supremely accessible. It features a custom formed kydex sheath inside of a handmade nylon sheath. This allows double retention, belt wearable with an added leg tie-down, and Molle compatibility (so it will attach to your plate carrier or tactical backpack). The sheath also has an expanding pocket on the front with a injection molded buckle closure. This pocket comes with a sharpening stone in it, and plenty of room to add other essential items like fire starters, fishing kits, or water filters. The sheath and the knife itself are all made of natural earth tone color components for the utmost stealth out of the box. If you’re a hunter or outdoorsman and want to take your blade game to the next level, this is the knife for you.
