The art of travel by Francis Galton

 

This is a great book, Its choco block full of old school fieldcraft skills. I doubt that any modern bushcrafters could actually do a majority of the skills . My oldest brother gave me this book for christmas way back in 1970. It has remained my favorite book on wilderness skills all this time.

Give it a read it is well worth your time.
