These are some pics of quick/emergency canoe paddles made by myself and some of the Jack Mountain Bushcraft students . All  are made with an Axe, wooden wedge and a small knife of some type. making paddles and Setting poles is a good skill to know if you travel by canoe anywhere in the world.
