"Wild Bill Donovan" by Douglas Waller

I just finished the book "Wild Bill Donovan" by Douglas Waller. It was an extremely interesting read and frankly, "Wild Bill" Intrigues me. I find it very interesting that this man - like Dick meadows the legendary Army officer - has earned more prestigious awards AFTER he was dead than many people can hope to be awarded while living.

I think that this mans friends, his era and his timeline in history are the factors contributing to his success even after his death.
