Tomahawks last hitch hiking trip

On the road with Tomahawk . "Live the reality of freedom, rather than the illusion of freedom".

King, North Carolina to Sierra Vista, Arizona (2038 miles) took me 10 days of travel. Which involved 32 different rides, 40+ miles of "Hiking" through Texas, mega sunburn, about 1 million chigger bites , and 14 blisters on my feet. I put the word 'Hike" back in Hitch hike.

Sadly, this for of travel is dying out in the good ol' USA. I remember the days when you could travel from Seattle to Miami in about 7 days of less.

I had some very interesting rides/drivers and a few folks that recognized me from the TV show I did a few years ago.

I arrived back in Arizona around 11AM on Saturday the 13th. All in all it was a pretty good trip and is marked as one of my most memorable. Sadly though, It is my last long distance trip via this mode of travel.

See you on the trail!
